The OS is Windows 2003, the smartmontools version is 5.43, the 3Ware driver version is 3.00.05.056 and the firmware is 4.10.00.026. So I can't change the TLER parameter of my disks. Now that all 4 are in place, I should have a bit less than 2TB of space, but it's not showing up. The 9650SE supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, Single Disk, and JBOD. All 4-port and above models feature 3ware’s award-winning Multi-lane connectivity. In case of hardware failure I would like to move the array to older 3ware controller, model 9650SE-8LPML without BBU. I have a 4 SATA III disks RAID10 array running on LSI (former 3ware) 9750-8i controller with BBU (read and write cache enabled). This is a little risky task I want to try. I replaced the drives one at a time with 1TB drives, letting the Array rebuild each time before adding another one. The 3ware 9650SE offers the most compre-hensive line of PCI Express controllers, available in both low profile and full height footprints with 2, 4, 8, 12, 16, and 24-port configurations. Move raid10 from LSI 9750-8i to 3ware 9650SE-8LPML. Smartctl -i /dev/sdc,1 or smartctl -i /dev/sdc,2 I get informations on the partitions and not informations on the disks. My original installation of Windows 7 is on a RAID 10 set up using 4 640GB drives on a 9650SE 3Ware RAID card. The 9650SE is the first native PCI Express controller card from AMCC/3Ware tested in our labs. I have an 3Ware 9650 RAID card with 4 physical disks (Samsung HD203WI with tler modifiable) and 4 logical partitions but I can't access to the physical disks, when I type (for example)
